Before you start laser we insist on a consultation and patch test for your safety. Your skin and hair are assessed and a patch test performed to ensure your skin does not react to laser. No, results from laser hair removal are not 100% permanent after a course of laser. Results from your initial course will not last for the rest of your life, this is why top up sessions are needed. You will achieve a reduction of up to 85% after a course but you may have light regrowth that you will need to maintain from time to time. Before you start any course of laser hair removal it is essential that you know the truth. Results from your initial course will need some form of maintenance after you have completed this.
On average 6-10+ treatments are needed for the bikini area. A reduction of approx 80-85% can be achieved after a full course of treatments. Top up or maintenance sessions are required 2-3 times a year to maintain your results. If you have any underlying medical/hormonal issues you may need more sessions to achieve results.
