FAQ's
It depends on the area, body to face. Facial laser can sometimes need more than 4-6 sessions. This is because it is a hormonal area and the hair turns over more than the body. You will still see a great reduction in the hair.
We aim for 85% hair reduction by the end of the 6-8 sessions. Once we have achieved this percentage we can move on to top ups. Some people need more than others. Factors such as the strength of the hair, hormones, stress, medication can determine how the hair grows back and how many treatments and top ups you may need. We are committed to getting you these results
We use a medical grade laser technology yo ensure the best results every time. Even after one treatment you I will see a huge reduction in hair, meaning it is a treatment you really see results in.
When you book in a complimentary consultation through the booking link you will be able to come and see us to discuss it in full. It is a no obligation, free consultation. We talk to you about laser works and how we get results. We preform a patch test to see if the hair will respond and if it will be suitable for laser.
It does not work on red, white, grey or vellum fluffy hair. The hair needs to have brown or black pigment and have some texture to get the best results.
We would prefer if you have not shaved all the area as it is helpful to see if the hair is of the right colour and texture to see if the hair will be suitable for the laser treatment. We will shave a patch when you get here if we have to.
The laser only works on hair below the skin, not above the skin. If there is stubble it will reduce the effectiveness of the laser. You can use shaving foam or soap to help you shave smoothly. We advise using a good quality razor to not upset the skin too much. Some clients have to shave close to the timeline of their treatment. That is absolutely fine as long as it is a clean shave.
